Saxony Anhalt State Flag

Our Digitally Printed Saxony Anhalt State Flag is available in a wide range of sizes and finishes, all of which are detailed in the image gallery. We have been manufacturing high-quality flags on our premises in Dublin City Centre for over 70 years.

Black and yellow were the colors of the Prussian Province of Saxony and the pre-1952 State of Saxony-Anhalt, but on 29 January 1991 the traditional order of the colors was reversed to distinguish the flag from the black-over-yellow bi-color of Baden-Württemberg. This was then enshrined in the state constitution of 17 July 1992, where Article 1 deals with the state symbols.

The standard and most popular size is 90cm hoist x 180cm fly (3ft x 6ft), making it ideal for wall display or flying on a standard flagpole.

FINISHING OPTIONS

We can finish your flag in a variety of ways depending on how you intend to display it, including:

• Rope loop & tail
• Two brass rings on the hoist side
• Sleeve pocket on the left and/or right side (ideal for poles or sticks)
• Brass rings in all four corners (perfect for wall or railing display)
