The Water Safety Red & Yellow Flag is the internationally recognised flag used to mark supervised bathing areas. Commonly flown by lifeguard services, local authorities, and beach management teams, it clearly identifies designated swimming zones and helps the public understand current water safety conditions. Manufactured for high visibility and durability, this flag is suitable for use at beaches, lakes, and open-water swimming locations.

Available in two material options:

Heavy woven dyed polyester (government standard)

• 155 gsm heavy woven polyester
• UV resistant and colour fast
• Up to 98% colour show-through on the reverse
• Hand-stitched panels with double hem finish
• Flame retardant, washable, and non-absorbent
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

Digitally printed polyester

• 115 gsm 100% polyester
• High-quality print with up to 95% colour penetration on the reverse
• Double hem finish
• Flame retardant, washable, and non-absorbent
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

The most common size is 90 cm × 180 cm (3 ft × 6 ft), suitable for standard flagpoles. Multiple sizes and finishing options are available, including rope, loop & tail, brass rings, and sleeve pockets. Bespoke sizes and finishes can be supplied on request.
